Delivery & Collection Information

Our Turkeys, Hampers and Christmas trimmings can all be ordered for Delivery or Collection from our farm.

Key Dates

Christmas Birds:

Delivered Monday, 22nd December 2025 (by 6pm)

Final date to place an order for home delivery: Friday, 19th December 2025

Collection Tuesday, 23rd December (by 6pm) or Wednesday, 24th December (by 2pm)

Thanksgiving Birds:

Delivered Tuesday, 25th November 2025 (by 6pm)

Collection Wednesday, 26th November (by 6pm)

Delivery Details
  • Sent by APC or FedEx courier for next-day delivery
  • Temperature-controlled packaging with food-safe gel ice packs - designed to keep cool for at least 48 hours
  • Mainland UK delivery only (excluding Highlands)
  • Standard delivery cost: £9.95

  • Standard delivery: 25th November
  • Alternative delivery dates available on request
  • Collections: Wednesday, 26th November (9am–6pm)

Next Day

Delivered next working day - Tuesday to Friday by 6pm

Order by 3pm to guarantee next working day delivery

Missed Deliveries

  • If you are not home, the courier will leave a card or attempt to leave the parcel in a safe place
  • If delivery is not possible, the order will be returned to a cold depot and re-delivered the next day - don't panic the courier box is designed to keep items cool for at least 48 hours

Important

  • John Howe Turkeys is not liable if no one is home to accept delivery, unless written delivery instructions are provided at least 24 hours in advance (via order notes or email: sales@johnhoweturkeys.co.uk)
  • If your order has not arrived by 4pm on 22nd December, please contact us immediately (ideally before 5pm)

Christmas Collections

  • If you cannot collect by 2pm on 24th December, please let us know

Thanksgiving Collection
  • Wednesday, 26th November 2025: 9am – 6pm
  • If you would prefer to collect on a different day or at a different time, we are happy to help — please contact us

Please remember to bring your order confirmation number with you when collecting your purchase. You can find the order number in your order confirmation email.

How Your Turkey Will Be Presented

Each turkey is prepared oven-ready and includes:

  • Wrapped in greaseproof paper
  • Vacuum-packed giblets
  • Pop-up cooking timer
  • Cooking instructions
  • Packed in an easy-to-carry John Howe Turkeys box.
